To all my Family & Friends in Cyberland
I can't believe that it's Mar 25 already . Hard to believe it's been 3 months since Christmas. I owe many of you personal letter and have that on the top of my list. LOL. I hope that by writing this and sending everyone my blog address I can keep everyone updated on The DeLong family. Lets see I guess I will start by telling everyone what's been happening with each of us over the last year or so.
Jessica & Jamieson are doing Well Jessica is in her Junior year @ Whitworth college. Getting her BA in Education with an emphasis's in Special Needs. She likes working with kids with disabilities. It's hard to believe that she turn 23 in Nov. Even harder that she has been married a year and half. Jamieson is doing well still working in the furniture business once Jessica finishes school then he will go back. Easier on the finances They decide to tell us in the end of Oct that they will make us Grandparents in July.
Matthew my dear middle child it's so hard to believe that he has graduate from High school and is now 19 He also has done 3 quarters of college already we are very proud of him. He has a girlfriend that he meet in July we finally got to meet her in Sept as everyone's life was extremely busy with the end of summer and school starting. The week after Dan's birthday(Oct 8th) he came to us with Cynthia and told us that they were going to have a baby due May 13 at first I was devastated with this news but I have to say that I am very proud of him he has been with her every step of the was he has asked her to marry him and she has agreed (he is taking full responsibility for his action) They will get married July 21, 2007. He has a job that he likes and a place out in the valley he is quite happy and even though I am sad at the way this has happened I am proud of him taking responsibility for his mistake. He is still going to go to school to get his degree to become an x-ray tech like his dad. He doesn't want to do a minimum wage job for the rest of his life.
Becca my Baby is 16 now and a sophomore's in high school she is very active in school with everything from sports to music(alto Sax Player) she presently is working on a few pieces so that she can try out for all city. It is thru Eastern Washington university. Which is also where she wants to go to college. She played with them at a football game and just loved it.She also has been studying sign language will see where she takes that. She's hoping to get into running start next year we should know in about a month if that will happen
Dan is still working at Scared Heart in Interventional radiology He likes his hours 230 til 11pm Tuesday thru Friday then back @7am on Sat. not sure I like the hours but have gotten use to it since he has done them for so long now.
Lets see I guess i should tell you whats going on with myself I have spent alot of time quilting and real love it. to support my habit I have been driving school bus . I also started a Blog and am trying to keep it current I was going to try to do it every day that hasn't happen but will try to do it at least once a week during the weekend, with 2 grand babies on the way and a wedding this summer things will be crazy to say the least.
